Since March 2, 2015, the KVC Olathe office has been using the Care Portal initiated by The Global Orphan Project, to make requests for specific needs of children in foster care. The Care Portal utilizes local churches to help meet those needs to stabilize a child’s placement, and has been very successful.

KVC and The Global Orphan Project are happy to announce the Care Portal will be launched in Wyandotte County on August 3rd.  This will provide another avenue for the church community to become involved with the foster care system and for additional needs of children to be met.   Please read our original blog post to learn more about the Care Portal and how your church can sign up and help children in their community.
