DESCRIPTION:Ready to take the next step toward becoming a foster parent?\nMAPP (Model Approach to Partnerships in Parenting) is a free training required by Kansas law for adults who want to become foster or adoptive parents. The training helps you build the skills and confidence to care for children and teens in foster care while giving you time to decide if fostering or adoption is the right fit for your family. \nChoose the virtual session that fits your life:\nThe Late Summer Series (Mondays)\n\nStarts: August 4\nMeets: Mondays from 6:00pm to 9:00pm\nEnds: October 13\n\nPerfect if you want to complete your training before the holiday rush. \nThe Late Summer Evening Series (Thursdays)\n\nStarts: August 20\nMeets: Thursdays from 6:00pm to 9:00pm\nEnds: October 22\n\nA great end-of-week option to complete your training this fall. \nThe Autumn Series (Wednesdays)\n\nStarts: September 2\nMeets: Wednesdays from 6:00pm to 9:00pm\nEnds: November 4\n\nA great mid-week option to fit into your fall routine. \n\n  \n    \n  \n\nWhat You’ll Learn\nMAPP helps you understand what children and teens may need from their foster or adoptive parents.
