DESCRIPTION:Danya Turkmani is a young woman who aged out of foster care and soared to success\, defying the odds that youth emerging from foster care typically face. Now with a successful career and MBA\, she’s eager to help other youth in a similar situation. The Emerging Leaders Fellowship is a unique workshop that teaches youth ages 16-22 in foster care the steps to success. The group will meet one Saturday a month for 10 months and receive training on self-care\, emotional wellbeing\, options for after high school\, personal branding and networking.
