Your Employer May Help Your Gift Go Further
Your gift helps children and families served by KVC find care, hope and healing. Through an employer matching gift program, your company may be able to match your donation and increase your impact.
Some companies also provide grants when their employees volunteer with nonprofit organizations like KVC.

If your employer offers a one-to-one match, a $100 donation to KVC could become $200—without any additional cost to you!

How Employer Matching Gifts Work
1. Make Your Gift
Donate to KVC and save your confirmation or tax receipt.
2. Check Eligibility
Search your company’s employee portal or ask your human resources team whether your employer offers a matching gift program.
3. Submit Your Request
Complete your employer’s online or paper matching gift form. Your employer will contact KVC if additional information is needed.

Two Ways Your Employer May Give
Matching Gifts
A matching gift program allows an employer to contribute to the same nonprofit an employee supports.
Some companies match donations dollar for dollar. Others may offer different match amounts or set minimum and maximum gift levels. Eligibility rules vary by employer.
Some programs may also include gifts made by employees’ spouses or retirees.
Volunteer Grants
Does your employer reward volunteer service?
Volunteer grant programs provide financial donations to organizations where employees give their time. These programs may also be called:
- Volunteer matching programs
- Volunteer grants
- Dollars for Doers
Your employer may require you to volunteer a certain number of hours before awarding the match or grant. Check your company’s guidelines for eligibility and submission instructions.
