Children and teens belong with their own families whenever possible. KVC works to safely reintegrate hundreds of families each year by providing parenting skills training, therapy and other support.
Caring People Needed
On any given day, KVC Kansas provides out-of-home care for thousands of youth. Relatives, non-related kin like teachers and neighbors, and foster families are all critical to providing temporary care for these children and teens.

People of Color Caregiver Discussion
Please join us for an evening of pizza and conversation! We would like to connect with caregivers of color to learn more about your experience as a foster parent, non-related kinship provider or relative caregiver to children in foster care. We want to visit with you about your unique experiences and what we can do to effectively support you as you care for others.
We will meet at The Other Place restaurant at 22730 Midland Drive, Shawnee, KS 66226 on Monday July 25 from 5:30pm-7:30pm. KVC will provide the meal and each family that participates will receive a $50 Amazon gift card for your time. Childcare will not be provided, and space is limited to the first 20 adults. Please RSVP using the form below by July 15.
