Caring People Needed
On any given day, KVC Kansas provides out-of-home care for thousands of children and teens. Relatives, non-related kin like teachers and neighbors, and foster parents are all critical to providing temporary care for these children and teens. See how you can make a difference as a foster parent.

About KVC Kansas
KVC Kansas is a private, nonprofit organization that serves over 12,000 children, teens and adults each year. Our team of caring professionals provides family strengthening and foster care prevention services, foster care case management, family reunification services, foster family recruitment and support, kinship care, adoption, aftercare, outpatient therapy and more.

Foster Parent Training Opportunity
January 18, 2020 @ 8:00 am - 12:00 pm
We will be hosting a Foster Parent Training Class on Saturday, January 18 in the Ball Conference Center from 8am to 12pm.
If you’d like to attend, RSVP to Jessica Elliott at jeelliott@kvc.org by January 10. Please include how many children will need care as well as their ages. We will be able to accommodate the first 40 children signed up. If you’re using childcare, please drop your children off by 7:45 so the training can start promptly at 8:00. Light refreshments will be provided. The topics include:
8:00 – 9:45 – Cultural Hair Care
9:45 – 10:00 – Break
10:00 – 11:00 – Self-Care
11:00 – 12:00 – Child Protection Project Presented by Sunflower House
