NAMI Basics is a free, six-session program provided by National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI). The Basics Education Program is designed for parents and other caregivers of children and youth with emotional and behavior difficulties. NAMI Basics helps parents understand the illnesses that are causing difficult behaviors, and the critical role families play in treatment.
