TBRI Training

August 8 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI) is an attachment-based, trauma, informed intervention that is designed to meet the complex needs of vulnerable children. TBRI uses Empowering Principles to address physical needs, connecting principles for attachment needs, and correcting principles to disarm fear-based behaviors. While the intervention is based on years of attachment, sensory processing, and neuroscience research, the heartbeat of TBRI is connection. This training is held by a Karyn Purvis Institute or Child Development TBRI practitioner.

Objectives for this training include 1.Learning about trust-based relational interventions and how to implement them. 2. Use empowering principles to address physical needs, connecting principles for attachment needs and correcting principles to disarm fear-based behaviors. 3. Understand more about trauma and how it effects children in foster care and how best to respond to children’s needs.

In order to register for this training, please login to Children’s Alliance and register through the portal. If you have issues registering please email Anastasia Ramirez with KVC. A week or two before the training takes place, a virtual link will be sent for you to join the virtual platform at the time of the training. Must be available to attend all sessions to register for the training due to limited capacity.
