Want to Foster or Adopt? Take the First Step with TIPS-MAPP Training – Seneca

March 2 - March 23

One of the first and most important steps to becoming a licensed foster or adoptive parent is to complete TIPS-MAPP classes (Trauma Informed Partnering for Safety and Permanence – Model Approach to Partnerships in Parenting). These classes are designed to prepare you to care for a child who may have experienced trauma and to provide you with many other supportive skills in your journey as a foster or adoptive parent.

We will be hosting a 10-week training class at Peter & Paul Parish Youth Center located at 411 Pioneer Street, Seneca, KS, starting January 12 from 9am-12pm. To attend, please contact me at 913-335-4103 or via email at bbartlett@kvc.org to get enrolled in the class.

This training is offered at no cost to participants.
