KVC Behavioral HealthCare Kansas Service Area Expands with Awarded State Contracts
Kansas Department for Children and Families (DCF) announced that KVC Behavioral HealthCare, Inc. has been awarded the contracts for Reintegration/Foster Care/Adoption Services and Family Preservation Services for Regions 1 and 2 (Kansas City and East Regions).
With these awards, KVC will continue to serve all existing communities and expand its service reach even further. This represents a 30-county area of eastern Kansas, spanning from Nebraska to Oklahoma, and includes approximately 50 percent of all children served in Kansas child welfare.
“KVC is very pleased that DCF has shown ongoing confidence in the ability of our organization to continue to serve as strong partners in providing quality services to so many children and families in the Kansas City area,” Wayne Sims, KVC Behavioral HealthCare CEO, said. “We believe the hard work of our dedicated staff, who demonstrate daily that excellence is not an act, it’s a habit, contributed to these contract awards, and we want to thank them for the work they do.”
