Families First
Children and teens belong with their own families whenever possible. KVC works to safely reintegrate hundreds of families each year by providing parenting skills training, therapy and other support.
Caring People Needed
On any given day, KVC Kansas provides out-of-home care for thousands of youth. Relatives, non-related kin like teachers and neighbors, and foster families are all critical to providing temporary care for these children and teens.

Holiday Giving

Each year, corporate sponsors and individuals donate in various ways that brighten the holidays for children in need.
KVC’s Holiday Heroes Program is a way for individuals, families and businesses to work together to make the holidays brighter for children and teens involved in the child welfare system. As a Holiday Hero, you are making a commitment to give them the gifts they have their hearts set on.
Our team is collecting presents, gift cards and monetary donations to make sure children who are in foster care, have safely reunited with their family or have been adopted have a happy holiday. Without your giving, these youth may not have the holiday season they are hoping for.
To become a Holiday Hero, click the button below or contact Jackie Harwig at jharwig@kvc.org. We know the holidays are a busy time, so if you don’t have time to shop, you can still help by making an online donation. Thank you!
