Holiday Heroes
Your Guide to Giving During the Holidays

The holidays can look different for children and teens in foster care.
A child or teen may be celebrating the holidays with a foster family, kinship caregiver or another supportive adult. They may be spending their first holiday season in a new home. Their family may also be working toward safely reunifying.
Holiday Heroes gives community members a way to come alongside children, teens and the people caring for them during this season.
When you give, you help create opportunities for joy and connection during a meaningful time of year.
What Does It Mean To Be a Holiday Hero?
A Holiday Hero is someone who chooses to show up for a child or teen during the holiday season. For youth in foster care, the holidays can come during a time of change as they adjust to a new home, school or community and work toward safely reunifying with their families.
Holiday Heroes brings our community together to help children and teens feel connected, appreciated and celebrated. You might choose gifts from a child’s personal wish list, shop an online wish list that supports multiple youth or make a financial contribution.
