The first annual Live Your Potential Women’s Conference was held in Kansas City this past weekend.  This conference seeks to empower, inspire and provide strategic connections through relationship-based networking for women.

KVC had the honor of being selected as the nonprofit to receive a donation of a portion of the proceeds. Community Resource Specialist Jackie Harwig had the pleasure of accepting this donation on behalf of KVC.

Thank you to the Live Your Potential participants and leadership team for the generous contribution.  The money donated will be used for KVC’s Children’s Activity Fund, that helps children in foster care participate in the activities they enjoy, as well as the Adopt an Angel fund which helps purchase holiday gifts for children in care.
