KVC was privileged to work with Mr. Daniel Jacobs and Christmas Families and the Red Bag Program again this year in providing gifts for the children we serve in foster care.

On Saturday, December 13, 2014, individual sponsors delivered their filled Red Bags to Grace Covenant Presbyterian Church, Overland Park, KS.  Then on Monday, December 15, semi-trucks took the Bags to various locations throughout the greater Kansas City area.

A semi-truck delivered Red Bags to the Ball Conference Center for KVC children.  A team of volunteers from Kforce and KVC staff and their families unloaded the semi and helped check in all the bags.  The Red Bags were then re-loaded on Penske trucks and delivered to two area KVC offices.

KVC is grateful to Mr. Jacobs and his team of dedicated volunteers for their time and effort in making the holidays merrier for our children.
