On May 9, the Kansas Speedway hosted the SpongeBob SquarePants 400. KVC Kansas teamed up with the NASCAR Foundation to raise money for Kansas children in foster care. KVC employees and volunteers asked NASCAR fans for a donation in exchange for NASCAR Foundation merchandise.   NASCAR will then donated 50% of the money KVC employees and volunteers raised.  The money will be used to buy school supplies for children in foster care.
