Generous Community Donors Prepare Students in Foster Care for Back-To-School
School is back in session this fall and children of all ages are preparing for another year of learning. Thanks to numerous community donors across eastern Kansas, over 3,000 children in foster care who are receiving services from KVC are heading back to school with new backpacks, folders, pens, pencils, binders and more.
Several businesses, organizations, families and individuals began collecting school supplies to donate to local KVC offices back in June. Due to the kindness and generosity of so many, every school-aged child served by KVC is able to return to school this fall with the supplies they need in order to achieve academic success.
